The box above is the shared converter from FontFancy, opened on Ennaval and on the styles that read best for short Tamil words. Type any Tanglish word — a pet name, a friend’s name, a line from a song — and every style updates as you type; tap one to copy it.

Why Tamil letters cannot be restyled

Fancy fonts only exist for Latin and Greek letters, because every bold or script letter is a separate character in the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block (U+1D400–U+1D7FF), and Unicode never encoded styled copies of Tamil. The Tamil block (U+0B80–U+0BFF) has 72 characters, all of them plain letters, vowel signs and digits.

Tamil font style limits: the Tamil script block U+0B80 to U+0BFF has no bold or script letters, so style the English spelling
Styled letters exist for the English spelling, not for Tamil script.

That leaves two honest options, and this page uses both: write the word in English letters (Tanglish) and restyle those, or keep the Tamil script and dress it with symbols and frames, which are separate characters and paste anywhere. So-called “Tamil stylish font” apps and PNG makers use installed font files such as Bamini; the result is an image, not text you can paste into a name field. For Amma, Appa and the words families use most, see our Amma and Appa font styles.

Unicode block: styled letters come from Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols — bold U+1D400, script U+1D49C (with ℬ ℰ ℱ ℋ ℐ ℒ ℳ ℛ ℯ ℊ ℴ from Letterlike Symbols), bold script U+1D4D0, fraktur U+1D504, double-struck U+1D538; small caps from Phonetic Extensions (U+1D00–U+1D7F); Tamil text stays in U+0B80–U+0BFF.

Ennaval font style

Ennaval (என்னவள்) means “my girl” — the one who is mine; a man’s word for the girl he loves. Tap any style to copy it.

People search for this as an ennaval name style, ennaval nickname style or ennaval style name; they all mean the same thing — the word written so it stands out in a bio or a contact name. Pair it with the Tamil spelling in your About line, for example 𝓔𝓷𝓷𝓪𝓿𝓪𝓵 · என்னவள்.

Ennavan font style

Ennavan (என்னவன்) means “my man” — the one who is mine; the girl’s answer to Ennaval. Tap any style to copy it.

Ennavan font style in English simply means the Tanglish spelling “Ennavan” in English letters, which is the only form that can take a fancy style. The Tamil spelling என்னவன் is shown for reference and works in the decorated versions further down.

Thangoo font style

Thangoo (from தங்கம், thangam) means a cuddly pet form of “gold” — used for a darling, a child or a partner. Tap any style to copy it.

Thangoo is spoken Tamil rather than dictionary Tamil, so spellings vary — thangu, thangoo, thango. Type the spelling your people use into the converter; the styles work the same.

Uyir Natpu font style

Uyir Natpu (உயிர் நட்பு) means “life-deep friendship” — a best friend you would give your life for. Tap any style to copy it.

Uyir Natpu in four styles, with the Tamil spelling above.

For a best-friend bio, keep both words in the same style — mixing a bold “Uyir” with a script “Natpu” usually reads as a mistake.

Tamil words with decorations

Tamil script cannot be restyled, but it can be framed: the brackets, hearts and wings below are their own characters, so the Tamil letters inside stay exactly as typed.

Symbols to pair with a Tamil font style

Soft hearts, moons and cute faces that suit Ennaval, Ennavan and Uyir Natpu bios. Add one at the end of a name rather than both sides, so the name stays readable.

Where Tamil font styles work (checked 30 September 2026)

Styled Tanglish words work in Instagram names and bios, WhatsApp profile names and About lines, Discord display names and messages, and usually in Free Fire and BGMI names; they do not work in @usernames. Tamil script with frames works in the same places, because it is plain text too.

Where you pasteStyled TanglishTamil script + frames
Instagram name, bio, captionsYesYes
WhatsApp profile name, AboutYes (name is short, commonly 25 characters)Yes
Discord display name, messagesYesYes
Free Fire / BGMI nameUsually — check the rename previewOften refused — game name fields may not accept Tamil letters
@usernames (Instagram, WhatsApp, Discord)NoNo

Field rules come from each platform’s help pages; game fields publish no character list, so treat those rows as things to test, not guarantees. If a style shows empty boxes, the phone is missing those characters — what are fancy fonts explains which blocks are safest. Free Fire and BGMI are trademarks of Garena and Krafton; FontFancy is an independent site. For stronger emphasis on a single word, the bold text generator has six bold alphabets.

Accessibility and a plain fallback: screen readers may spell styled letters one by one or skip them, so keep the plain word — Ennaval, or என்னவள் — somewhere on the profile, and people searching for it can still find you.

Tamil font style FAQ

What is a stylish Tamil font generator?

It is a converter that takes a Tamil word typed in English letters, such as Ennaval, and returns it in decorative Unicode styles you can copy. Tamil script itself cannot be restyled, because Unicode has no bold or script Tamil letters — only frames and symbols can be added around it.

What is a stylish name font?

A stylish name font is a name written in look-alike Unicode letters — bold, script, fraktur or small caps — so the style survives copy and paste into a bio, contact name or game name. It is text, not an installed font.

How to write in a stylish font?

Type your word into the converter at the top of this page, tap the style you like to copy it, and paste it where you need it. For Tamil words, type the Tanglish spelling (Ennaval, Uyir Natpu); keep the Tamil spelling for decorated versions.
